I need one of you prop whisper'ers to point me in the right direction...
Looking for a 10.5" 13P 3blade, 13 spline prop for my jon boat. What do I buy? Why a rubber hub? Do they all have rubber hubs? Aluminum vs Stainless?

Call 866-790-7767 and talk to one of the guys at PT Propellers.
Have the website pulled up when you call them and be prepared to answer pretty specific questions about what you have now and what you need to new prop to do for you. I've run nothing but PT Props for years and have never been unhappy. The one time I had to swap a prop was when I didn't listen to their advice...

The rubber hub insulates the engine and gears from damage if the prop hits something solid. Over time, though, the rubber shrinks and deteriorates to the point the hub “spins”. I always carry a spare prop just in case I ever spin a hub. Some props have a consumer replicable hub kit – others need professional replacement.

Scb3 power tech. Unless you wanna give up a couple mph for better turning and load carrying, then get the scb4.
