Default Bacon wrapped cheeseburger onion rings

Got invited to a cookout today and volunteered to make the appetizers. This was pretty time consuming but turned out great. Smoked for about two and a half hours at 300°.

Basically cut onions into rings for onion rings. Alternate rings and pack hamburger meat and cheese in-between. Make sure you have plenty of bacon. About two slices per ring.

After about two hours, half got a glaze with some homemade BBQ sauce. Turned out to be a hit!

I reckon. I have an offset smoker and I just burn logs but I don't see why not.
