    Default Deer feeder?

What are y’all using? I have to contend with pigs on a regular basis. Anything other than Moultrie?

We have a few All Season Feeders. They're expensive but well made and the ones we have are about 30 years old.

Academy Big A. Holds 650 pounds which means I fill it in May/June after Turkey season, top it off in September, then make sure its empty by Feb 15. The 6v motor with a solar charger works great, good varmint cage

If hogs become a problem (They aren’t yet, but starting to get a few pictures and sign) you can replace the motor with a gravity unit that the pigs can’t get into. I haven’t used the gravity unit but it gets great reviews

The legs are cconnected by a length of chain to keep them from splaying out with 600+ lbs of corn in them. You could also run a piece of rebar thru the feet and it would be hog proof at that point

It’s a pretty tall feeder so I use the loader on the tractor to raise the corn bags to height instead of carrying 12-13 of them
I dont have bears to deal with

16" 4' section of smooth wall HDPE corrugated pipe, flat stock bent to form legs and set up 1.5-2" and bolted. Make a table for the corn to spill out on. Bend sheet stock to make a cap and bungee down. Holds about 3-350# of corn.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I have three of them. Legs feel my work if you have pigs and bears. They’ll knock them down

What size boss buck do you have Jess? And did your deer start using them right away?

    350. It took them a bit. About like a spin feeder. They need to get used to them

I have 5 of them. Took them a little while to get used to hog panels, but those are a no brainer
