    Default Paint for boat floor

I need to repaint the floor in my boat . What is the best paint to use ? Want something that will hold up and not be slippery when wet .

I would put herculiner and then paint

Stump can probably paint it for you cheaper than you can buy it.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I would go with the Hydro turf idea. Screw paint. A little surface prep, slap that turf down and viola.

I bought garage floor paint and had it tinted brown. Rough sanded the raw aluminum, added texture (basically sand) and rolled it on. Been down for 12 years and only the rivets are worn. Hydroturf is certainly preferred but I question the added weight.

Edit: I did put down a Rustoleum aluminum primer first.

If you're worried about the weight try a good diet and drop ten pounds.

Hyrdoturf acts as insulation and cushion. Weight is minimal.
