    Thinking I should drop it down to 1". Those are 3/32" holes.

    Question...

    Circulating the water cools off the pool correct? Why does sending the water through the pvc gizmo cool better than just turning on the jets?

    Smaller pipe or less holes, the longer in the air the cooler the water. I’m debating on running mine less, to warm the water back up.

    i made one, too. similar to simplemans. I think i need more pressure (i.e. water squirting out farther).

    You need more velocity, not more pressure (you actually need less pressure, but we won’t get into that). Yes, more pressure will give you more velocity, but that comes at the expense of another pump. Whereas more velocity can be achieved by drilling smaller holes or fewer holes

    That would be turning volume into pressure moreso than into velocity....velocity would be a result of increased pressure. If'n you are going to be lecturing folk make sure not to put your cart before your horse....
