Anyone have luck with one that works well? This would be for a 30" slide in gas range.

i've got one....on my island range. gas, like yours. I think my shit is GE?
Anyway, the only issue we had was where to install the on/off buttons. ended up on the side of the top drawer. now that I'm used to it, its no big deal.
It seems to pull quite well....better than I thought it would, at least.
I know that doesnt really help....
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
How about a downdraft range?
We have a gas range and a separate "pop up" down draft, Dacor I believe. We are in the process of replacing the on/off switch for a second time due to liquid cleaner getting into it and ruining it. Not a cheap fix either. If it wasn't for cooking bacon inside, I know I need a Blackstone or some such outdoor device for this, I wouldn't fix this stupid switch again. It does it's job when it's working properly.
client has already purchased the range before hiring us and changing the layout of the kitchen.
2th, I'll check out the GE.
