I am trying Rex rice this year for the first time.

I am trying it "dry." The rice is doing well and I just added some Nitrogen. It does have some invasive Jap Millet that volunteered from last years crop. I am obviously not worried about it, but it is harder to control weeds in rice.

nice stand there lowcountry boy. when did you plant?

Jenks, I've been told 24D won't hurt the rice. That's what I've been using. I haven't been back to check on it in a few weeks.

We planted the first week of May. Much easier to control the weeds than corn in my experience.

    Thanks to all
