Use to be, most of us who were active in it kind of quit posting. Haven’t been to a WBFC meeting in about two years.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'll be there all next week. I'm don't know anything to tell you about finding the fish. Been fishing there for 10 years a t a rate of a couple times a year if I'm lucky. I'm happy when I get to wet a line. I've caught fish in NI, the oyster banks, no man's etc. I will say don't cross Winyah if a late afternoon storm rolls through. Just sit it out. Contact if you get in any trouble.

I concur. Don't get caught anywhere near the jetties if the sky turns black.

    Yeah, live and learn.

That was a life lesson that I (and my crew) thankfully survived.

So I made it out and back, no problems, had great weather. Caught a few 12 inch trout and 1 18” red. Fished hard for two days through Oyster Bay and from Jones Creek to the North Inlet. Came out on a super low tide and got to follow a local guy out, so learned a couple of channels. Will try to post a pic.

I like the area, this was my 2nd trip, but the water rolling out of Winyah Bay is really dirty. May be due to rain, I’m not sure. The water closer to North Inlet was cleaner, that’s where I caught the fish.

Plenty of fish in that "dirty" water.
