    Default 2005 Silverado air problem

I was driving home from the boat ramp and the air conditioning was on wide open, then all of a sudden everything quit. Didn’t matter if you turned the knob to 1 or 5 no air would blow. Is this a bad blower motor and resister? Possible blown fuse? Haven’t messed with it yet but tomorrow on the hottest day of the year ought to work out perfect. Truck is an 05 Silverado crew cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the resistor. Smack under glove box and see if starts back. If it does it’s the motor. I’d replace them both.

Sounds like you’re low on a/c capacitor oil. Stuff is like $0.99 a quart.
