Default Send me to Colorado in December

Looking for suggestions for Colorado in December. Want to Ski 1/2 day, snowmobile 1/2 day, and then do something the wife will like, probably shopping local shops and bar hopping, not a spa.

Where and what is the min days yall would stay? Can you do it in a Thursday-Sun?

You can do Thurs-Sun if you fly into Vail or Hayden. Vail is a little more Ritzy and Steamboat (Hayden) is more of a cowboy/western town. I'd plan to ski a full day. I assume you will rent skis, so reserve them and pick them up at the mountain early on your ski day. Ski until lunch, lunch and beers on the mountain, and ski til about 3 pm. Your SC ass will be worn out. Eat a bar food dinner at the base of the hill because you will be asleep early.

You will then have Sat free to explore either Vail or Steamboat. They are both fun towns.

Book a little later flight on Sun and enjoy that day too.

Snowmobiling can be done either place, but going in Dec runs the risk that they don't have a ton of snow.

    Don't rent a car

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Wolf Creek for skiing and then hit Pagosa hot springs on your way to Durango - Telluride.
