We spend pretty much every evening and weekend outside. I have a shit load of bushes and trees.........it is not bearable to sit outside because of the mosquitos.

I should of moved a few streets over because in Tooths neighborhood not only do they not have mosquitos, they don't have bad guys and robbers so I could of saved myself from buying a pistol.

There it is. You just solved nearly half of 2th's problems in one fell swoop. No phones, no neighbors, no by-catch and no skeeters.

Except for the bat shit part...

    its true

i'm outside after work every day watering the maters. wife and daughter swim every night. I have never come inside because of the mosquitoes. Granted, there are bugs out there but not all of them bite. I really do wonder sometimes and maybe should come sit in yalls backyard to see if I can find an actual biting insect.

We had them at our place downtown pretty horrible, it was unbearable to walk outside some afternoons. I haven't been bit by single one here at the new place. I would imagine because there's less silly things in people's yards to collect water.. and really theres no yards near us. Plus it's all sand.

In South Carolina, I've never had a mosquito problem that was too bad, irritating, but not unbearable.

I was at a property out west this past weekend, a lot of flooded fields and stagnant water around. You can't stand still outside if there is no wind, I have 30+ bites all over me as I type. We sprayed some stuff from TSC and it helped, it was unbearable before that.

My wife wanted the yard sprayed, as did I. Something about my four year old girl scratching the tops off of big welps made me soft.

We still have a lot of bees, and my wife can handle herself.

I walked through a swamp in Maine two weeks ago that was unlike anything I'd ever seen. had two thermacells running and was covered in 99% deet. The turkey died, not from mosquitoes, but from 750 stinging 9's

How about carpenter bees? I will kill every last one of those and there isn't a damn thing that will make me feel sorry about it.

I went from having swarms of hummingbirds in my yard to almost nothing after a spray. I will never do that again.

Baboons for me, they are so distasteful. That red ass is just nasty, nature screwed up something with that.

Demand is also the chemical you are looking for. Backpack blower and go to town spraying the wood on your house, deck, log cabin etc...
