    Default Two man boat

I have a job coming up that I’m going to have to do some GPSing in a marsh and a pond. This is the 6 or 7th time I have done this. I usually use a canoe but want something more stable. It needs to be light enough for wo guys to carry 100’ or so. I also would like it to have a trolling motor. What would you guys suggest I look at.

i would look at borrowing someone's jon boat or, better yet, a ghennoe.

    (or a lowe's, apparently.)

i got both if you want to borrow one....

This is probably your cheapest option for new. My father in law set one up with a trolling motor for fishing two people in small rivers and he loves it. My next suggestion would be a 13' riverhawk.

My dad has a two man crow boat with foot pedal controls but no trolling motor to go with it. He mentioned getting rid of it the other day. If you're interested I can get you more info.

A 12' Jon Boat can fit in the back of a regular pickup truck bed with ratchet straps and can be handled by one or two people. But if you want to duck hunt and maybe fish out of it a little bit I'd spring for a 14' Jon instead
