1/7 twist on a 16” barrel. Looking to test accuracy at 100. What’s the best factory load?

Federal GOLD MEDAL 77 grain SMK. But if that don't work, you might have to play with it and Branch out. But start there.

Several companies load the 77 SMK. I’ve had very good luck with the Magtec 77 SMK load, and the IMI. Hornady loads the 75 BTHP in their match series and the Black line. Try a bunch. Try some other bullet weights as well since you’re only looking at 100 yds. 69 TMKs shoot lights out for me

I haven't tried the 77 gr SMK's yet, but have tried the Black Hills 68 Match HP, the BH 69 gr SMK(?), and the 75 gr SMK.

My best groups presently have been with the Speer 75 gr Gold Dot's.

As mentioned Federal GMM, Black Hills, Magtech, IMI or others using the Federal Matchkings is a good start.

Also try, if you have time, some Hornady 75 gr TAP.

I also have had good luck with the Hornady match load mentioned, but it was only with 2 rifles.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
