Who would have thought Germany would be at the bottom of that group?

    not I

i wasnt able to watch that game or the mexico/sweden one....but watched the "90 in 90" segment on fox sports.com to catch up. Looks like Korea played a great game to beat germany and Mexico aint world-beaters just yet.

I tried to have a peaceful fajita dinner the other night and there was kickball on every television.

You won't get that at a Longhorns or the Ruby's Tuesday.

Told them I'd be back as soon as the Commie Con was over.

sorry to say....Mexico advanced. They will play again Monday vs Brazil.

I'd hazard a guess you can east fajitas after that match. Brazil should win.

Today I learned that Fifa is not a sports apparel company,it is a soccer coalition. Fila is into sports wear.

england = colombia in an hour. Should be a good one. England is playing well with a slightly different look and style while Colombia brings a world class team to the pitch.

interesting things going on when it comes to "civility." watch belguim's team pick up the japanese players after a horrible last second loss after being up 2--0. Also, fans are cleaning up the stadiums after the game and players are cleaning the locker rooms at each venue, knowing another team will use that locker room next.

say what you want, but that is refreshing to see in ANY sport.

Didn't Me-hi-co get fined $500K for their crowd chanting racist slurs during one of their games?

My bracket is destroyed but I do think England can and will beat Colombia especially with James not being totally fit. If England does win, I'll only have four of eight teams in the quarter finals.

It has been a good world cup - way less fish flopping than normal and some really good games.

mexico coach got on neymar for his antics monday.

moon-I dont know about the fines but I did hear something about that. I tend not to listen to some of that so I can concentrate on the good stuff...

The Japs cleaned their locker room and left a hand-written thank you note in Russian after their defeat. Pretty classy.
