    Default My son's bass replica

Been meaning to post this one for a while.

My 5 year old caught this one all by himself. All I did was lip it and pull it into the boat.

He wanted to release her so he could catch her again when she was 10 pounds. I've always told him that I would put his first ten pounder on the wall. But his birthday was coming up and there are only so many Legos you can buy. So we did a replica for his birthday.

Steve at 301 did a great job on the paint job and I appreciate @Rodney for helping me get it started.

That youngun's ruint, you're going to need to take up saltwater fishing.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I had left the scale in the kayak. We took measurements and I think it was right at 7. She was fat, but only 20" long.

    Good job Colton!

I am sitting here with my son (uga_dawg was in my wedding, we go way back) and he said "I can't believe colton caught that big of a fish."

Hottest day in SC history. At least by my recollection. The beer from the previous night and the tux might have skewed the results.

Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.
