    Default Hunting Reef (6HI)

Who has fished it? with the presently forecasted seas looking good this weekend my cousin has talked me into making a morning trip out there so we can fish and be back in time to hit the beaufort sand bar. What species are they catching out there now?

You're not even allowed to use any offshore lingo if you haven't fished the 6HI.

Probably be some spades around, juvenile BSB, ring-tails, Spanish, trashfish, sharpnose etc. They've been hammering the cobia nearshore around here lately.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

There’s no fish at 6hi... the sandbar will be much more fun
