I’m never more on edge than I am at a boat landing.

Amen! Even if I don't feel threatened but I don't know you, I'll have the tool in hand to take care of you.

You aren't alone there. Landings are a magnet for illicit activities, criminals, and general poor behavior, and I am always armed when I have to use one.

Question on this situation: 1) I don't have a CWP so haven't been thru the classes, if this guy would have had CWP and pulled out his gun a shot one or more of these guys would he have been charged? 2) If he didn't have a CWP but had a weapon in his vehicle and after being attacked his wife would have grabbed the weapon and shot one or more of these guys, would she be charged? Always wonder about these type situation.

I’d say he wouldn’t be charged. She would not be charged either

Glock at the boat ramp? That is high class. Needs to be a P-series Ruger or Taurus revolver.
