    Default AirLift 5000

My 2015 F250 was leveled by the dealer. I like the look but when I put the boat behind it, I end up with the "Carolina Squat" and I'm not a fan of that. I've been looking at the Airlift 5000 air bags and from everything I read, they work. Do any of you have any experience with air bags to level a vehicle when towing?

Just installed a set of airlifts on a 15 Ford yesterday and a 16 Ford this AM.

If you go with the onboard compressor, I like Firestone much more.

I doubt I'll do an onboard compressor at the moment but I will down the road. Why do you like the Firestone better? I could care less about brand, I'm just curious.

Airbag to airbag I don’t. If you install the onboard compressor I’d go Firestone. Airlifts compressors is cheesy to me as their switch and gauge.

Add bags, put you a T in the lines and plumb your valve out by your license plate.

Thats what I was thinking. Haven't nailed down the location of the valve but I like the lp idea. Thanks KRT.

I have a set on my 1500 Silverado with the lines ran next to the license plate. Right under the spare tire lock thing

KRT, what would something like this run on a 2013 F150 4x4?

I decided to go with the AirLift 5000 w/ integral bump stops and will add the onboard compressor in a few weeks. They took about 4 hrs to install and probably could've gone faster if I would've read the instructions before hand. I also realized that I'm getting too old to be working under vehicles w/o a lift. I put the schrader valves in the lower two holes of my license plate. All in all, its a pretty clean and easy product to install.
