What caused the blockage...assuming lack of maintenance/oil change?

Almost looks thick and milky like water was in it.

When was the last time you changed your coolant or flushed it?

    That was a serious question.

Excuse my Diesel truck ignorance....I thought it was part of the oil system. I didn't realize it was part of the coolant system.

    Carry on.

I asked a real question. Tell me when was the last time you drained your coolant or flushed it? It wasn’t a diesel specific question.

Love those trucks and wish I still had mine.
That truck is probably 18 years old. Looks like it just needs some tlc.

Bottom one is. We grease the o-rings before install. Grease looks dirty, even new.

According to my Maintenance Log book: Dec. 17, 2017 @ 5:47pm - It was part of my annual maintenance procedure.

Neglect in maintenance creates the coolant problems. Coolant breaks down, water rust and sludges. Coolant, differential, and transfer case services are often neglected.

I’m missing what you’re referring to I suppose. It’s brand new.

Just the dirt or whatever it is and all that on the top. The ports on the old one look clean cut but the ones on the new one look like they've been bent on a few. Tbh it just looks cheap to me. Im not doubting you that its a brand new one though.
