Default Hunt truck vs everyday driver truck

Buddy and I were discussing this Saturday.

I have always driven a nicer crew cab truck as an everyday drover .... which I hunted with as well.

Being in sales I pile up the miles....I have always thought about a 4wd Tacoma and another “work” ride.

Not too worried about gas.....just ease of use type stuff

My everyday driver is a 2017 F250 Platinum. I bought it in October of last year and finished out the season in it. Seems like every two days I was pressure washing the mud off of it to keep it nice. End of the season, I said no more and bought a 1999 Land Cruiser. That gave me a hunt/beach/fish/beater car and allows me to now write off 100% of the truck. Hell, I'd rather drive the LC most of the time anyway.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'm currently looking for a 80's/ 90's Toyota pickup with the 22r or 22re. Soon as I find one, I'm going to sell my current daily driver and get something a little newer and keep miles/ and damage off it by driving the yota.

I got a 85 4runner that is my hunt club truck. Also have a Sequoia that pulls my duck boat and trailers. I really like an SUV for my hunting vehicle. I have Rubbermaid totes with all my junk depending on what I am chasing.

I understand. The one that always disturbs me is “I’m racking up the miles on my vehicle”

I'm too petty. I would have to have a bumper sticker made up that read "this isn't my real truck" if I bought an extra little truck to have laying around.

I still have the Tundra i bought from you, but drive my 02 Tacoma more. My club isn’t truck friendly at all.

I love pulling up to the country club in my old 4runner.

I drive a 2013 f150 fx4 every day. It’s a very nice truck. I’d consider it my work truck/hunting truck. My personal truck is my 2011 duramax. But I just got it like that
