Yeah, that's really petty and low-class right there...

You and I have mixed it up pretty good a couple of times, but I'd never wish something like that on anyone.

That rat snake probably had a juvenile dove in its stomach. Or a baby rabbit. Or a wood duck egg. Or a turkey egg.

Trap trap trap predators. But for some stupid fucking reason everyone feels biologically enlightened and morally superior when they let a snake live. Coyotes eat rats too.

I’m at a property in Arkansas myself and MarshChicken own this week. I’ve seen 5+ moccasins and 15+ water snakes ... every time I go near a body of water there is one slithering away.

I smushed a big copperhead Saturday with the tractor tires. Front and back tires. Twice.

Knock on wood I don’t see many cottonmouths near saltwater. I saw more copperheads in saltwater in NC than cottonmouths.

I will get bit this afternoon now that I said that.

Couldn't do it. I'm man enough to admit I'm terrified of snakes, and wifey can't even watch 'em on TV. The yard's one thing, but the garage? No, sir. We'd have to sell the house...

...And while I think they're fascinating, I'm convinced that anyone who loves snakes or has one for a "pet" might as well have a neck-tat and/or cook meth in their kitchen...

Fuck You. I'd burn those woods down.

I've hunted and fished 80 days a year for over 25 years, and I've never seen one climb. What the hell is next, can they fly?

I don't mess with them and will kill every one onsite unless it is a green snake or garter or such that I easily can identify as friendly.
I was hunting in a swamp once with Big Brother and Rodney, the kind of real swamp you can only access by boat and then get
out and walk around in. A snake crawled up into and under a pile of dead limbs and damn if these two didn't run over there to try to find him.
I believe BB got right in there on his hands and knees looking for the damn thing. Strangest shit I had ever seen while I watched from afar
