Good pics as always RH. I have seen them pull ninja moves on good dogs. Crafty little boogers.

    Nice shots.
I found a litter last week. Went in a culvert also but it was too dark in there to get any decent shots of them. They were reds.

Good stuff RH. I found a set of red pups forty years ago in a culvert like that of a farm.

Great photos for sure. They deserve some captions. "Mom said don't talk to strangers. You three mooks...lock it up!"

Thanks guys - Here's another that I liked. I also took a video that turned out good. I'll get it on youtube eventually.

Beautiful pics!! Which lens were you shooting with? I found a pack here under a grate in a drain but didn't have the right lens for the shot. Never saw them under there again.

It never leaves my camera - Canon's 70-200mm F4/L IS.

The one pup is very brave/curious and the storm drain is under a fairly traveled road – I’m afraid one or two are going to get flattened before too long.

I still do most of my stuff with the 100-400 L. My wife has taken custody of it lately and it pretty much lives on her camera these days. I’m considering picking up either the 24-70 F2.8 or the 24-105 F4 so that I can at least have a decent lens on mine for carrying around. Especially with this new boat assignment that I’ve gotten out of Charleston. Apparently it spends most of its patrols in the Caribbean, South America, and the occasion trip through the Panama Canal!
