Better drown them in cocktail sauce is all I can say if you plan on eating them out of wateree.

It all depends on the time of year and species of fish.

I dont leave crappie in a cooler for more than about 4 hours. The meat seems to get mushy on me. No matter what time of year...

Yep, I wouldn't eat any fish out of Wateree in the late summer. I don't eat catfish or Rockfish out of there either.. I rockfish just for fun. There's a new study getting ready to come out on the water, it's not as bad as you think. That algae bloom that we've been getting a late summer is freaking awful though.

What I want to know is what the hell causes that nasty mud line on the side of you boat after being in wateree? I've got a white center consol and you have to pressure wash plus put in a little elbow grease to get it off. That shit ain't no joke! I don't know if any other body of water in this state that does that to your boat.

I will. I talk to the person who's been working on it a pretty good bit.

I would imagine a lot of it is red clay. Imagine Lake Murray being a bathtub with a garden hose coming in and going out.. now Wateree as a 5 gallon bucket with a garden hose coming in and a garden hose going out.

Every lake in this state will put a mud line on your boat at times.
