Didn't break one off. Found some info about running Sea Foam in the tank and warming up the engine before trying to pull em. Used Kroil from the top once I got the coil off. Worst part was having to use fifty-leven extensions and universals to get to 3, 7, & 8. Ran out of daylight so #4 is on hold for now and I'm really dreading getting back to it.

I’ve done it in a 98 f150 5.4 with just some elbow grease and wobble extensions. It’s a pain but you can get them all like this.

I feel your pain. Just paid the man down the road $365 to change the plugs and 2 coils in her 2007 expidition.
