Good, I was fixing to call you about purchasing 6 acres of St. Augustine for a project around a pool we working on. Needs to be onsite Wednesday. You lost that deal.

The soil in Georgia isn't good enough to support it anyways.

You can pull all you need of that raggedy ass grass out of the cracks in abandoned truck stop parking lots.

Foltenewicz was straight dealing last night. Still throwing 98 in the 9th.

How short our memories are. I recall guy fuming not too long ago about the Braves dumping big contracts and trading away all the talent they had left. Didn't take em long to right the ship it appears.

2 impressive games against the Mets after a tough 2-5 trip out west.

Freeman is simply amazing. He's top 3 in basically every hitting category in the NL.

Soroka carried a no hitter into the 7th today. Folty and Newk are on a strong run, McCarthy and Sanchez are pitching solid.

Bats aren't as hot, but this is still a fun team to watch....and they are still currently in first.

I really hope they resign Markakis to a 2-4 year deal. He is one of the biggest reasons the Braves are where they are right now

He really is a great player. A 2 year deal would be great...4 would be stretching it.

The Nats made their move yesterday showing the NL East that they were in it to win it by signing a big name closer. The Braves all but have to make a move now. I was thinking they would go 3rd base, but Camargo is there to stay (I think). I like Camargo and really like what he does for the team. Ozzie and Acuna play better when he is in the lineup. Read one article yesterday showing us going after Cole Hamels who is currently in Texas. It's going to be an interesting 3 weeks before the all star break to see what happens.

I really like Nick. He is a pure hitter. As much as I like him I would love to see us use him to pick up a solid starting pitcher.

    Not for this season though.

Freddie is hitting so well because Nick is hitting so well. Freddie has to have a bat behind him.

47-34 and a 3 game lead going into July

Tough schedule before the AS break.

Big series coming up with the Yankees and brewers. I would love to see them trade for a good reliever here pretty soon, and then maybe sign a starter in the offseason and get kimbrel back as well. I can’t see us without Markakis next year, the guy would be pretty damn hard to replace. Give him the 2 years!
