    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    Thanks for the heads up. Would y’all recommend the 6000 or 8000 for a nearshore (tarpon/cobia) setup?

    I use a 5000 and it's just fine.

    At that price take the opportunity to buy 2 reels.

    5000 for Cobia - 250yds/40lb braid
    6000 for Tarpon - 300yds/65lb braid

    If you're only buying 1 reel go with the 6000....the 8000 is too big/heavy unless you have to fish heavy mono and need the capacity.
