    Default Sunglasses

I’m in the market for a new pair. I have had coasta, native, Maui Jim’s, Wiley x in the past. The natives and wileyx have been my favorite. Been several years sine I got a new pair. What do the experts have to say. Trying to stay under 150 these will be everyday glasses.

I have worn Costa for a while, and SunClouds. I just bought a pair CDM Tuna Alley not long ago. 580 plastic, 95.99 on Ebay brand new. I like them but I keep telling myself I am going to switch to either Smith or Native next.

I've worn the same pair of Natives the last 7-8 years. No complaints.

Last time I was shopping I ended with a pair made by Smith. They've been a leader in the goggles arena forever, at least that's where I know the name from. Took a shot on 'em and have been pleased so far.

The last few years I have been using Calcutta glasses and have been pleased. West Marine carried them, but not sure if they still do. I have been getting them of Amazon for $20. They have several different frames, color lenses, styles and are polarized.

They are hard to beat for the money.

After I dropped my last pair of Costa's and they went to the briney depths, I bought a $25 dollar pair of Calcutta's at the marina to get me through the weekend. I'm still wearing them 2 years later. I also have a pair of Sunclouds that I picked up somewhere that get the job done too. I think they were $25 as well. I hate to think of the $ spent on Costa's over the years because I HAD to have them.

Bottom line is I can't justify $150-$200 for a pair of sunglasses. They are sunglasses, they block the sun, and when I drop, sit on, step on these another $25 will get me a new pair.

I bought s pair of sunclouds earlier this year for like $50. I love them! I could actually see better under the water better than my budddy that had costas on.

I've got 2 pairs of Sun Clouds that I have been pleased with. I keep a pair in the tackle box and a pair in my blind bag. I'm not one to lose or break glasses but at $50 bucks I wouldnt be too broke up. Same people that make Smith if I'm not mistaken.
