I drank a tallboy at Panthers stadium during the ACC championship in Dec.

I drank a couple of beers on the River walk in San Antonio this week.

    Nothing in between.

Will probably be a good while before I do again.

Never the same from one week to another. I guess an average week would be anywhere from 12-36 beers during the week. 24 over the weekend. If I am drinking wine, I will finish a bottle in a night. Bourbon is usually only 2-3 a night if that's what I'm drinking. It also depends on what time I eat as I don't drink anything else after I eat dinner. Mine and my wife's normal dinner time is between 8:00-9:00. I don't drink on Sundays- usually the only day I don't at least have a beer or two, even when I grill.

I voted that I do not drink, but its not so much that I "don't drink" as that I just have not had anything to drink in about a year.

I guess I could have voted "rarely" instead....I don't have anything against drinking. I feel as though I am fairly trustworthy regardless.

Glad to see I wasn’t the only one who said “I don’t drink”. I went deep sea fishing with some older guys when I was 17. Had never had a beer, figured I wouldn’t get in trouble for drinking one on a boat, so I tried me a Bud Light. Didn’t care for the taste. Drank half of it, chunked the rest and proceeded to get sea sick. It was an all night all day trip on the Carolina Clipper back in 2000. I was cured of my interest that night.

The problem with "trying to control" it, is that pissed me off so I was just in a bad mood. I hardly got into the bottle but when I did...it was lights out.

Not too long ago my 8 year old told me (out of the blue) the he was glad I didn't drink anymore. I just closed my eyes and gave him a big hug.
Congrats to you, reeltight, for doing the right thing for your family and yourself. I know what your son was feeling like, so if you ever feel yourself slippin' and need to jaw it out with someone, feel free to call.

I saw a few members of this site at an event recently. If they vote truthfully, it will skew the stats.

its pretty rare for me not to have atleast 2-3 beers/bourbon drinks after work before during and/or after supper. there are certian activities that i dont know how to do without drinking. my lawn mower wont even crank until a bourbon/coke is inserted into the cupholder.
