I don't think anyone is arguing your point. Doesn't make them any less cool. You probably have one.

Bump. Any updates? I see you have the grease slide modification on yours. Havent used mine yet. Everybody says use flaxseed oil to season it. Got a feeling I'll be doing the grease fix on mine too.

Grease fitting gadget is a neat trick. It works well. It's not a slide on fix. You'll likely have to bend and finagle it a bit to fit.

I used the silver tab handle off of a binder clip to fix the grease issue with mine.

    It's not like a griddle....it is a griddle!

I’ve had mine for 11 years and still going strong . I cook on it more than any other grill I’ve had. Once you get it seasoned you’re good to go. You won’t regret purchasing it.

Do these need to be sanded to be like the old, much better griddles?

I'm gonna put a short piece of small chain going into the drip pan for this weekends use. Plan on cutting and welding a coupling and running it below the shelf to a bigger grease trap.

There’s a new model out with an improved rear grease trap. If any of you are shopping for a new one, make sure you get the new model. I bought mine off of amazon . I noticed my local Lowe’s still has the old model on the floor.

I saw that the other day. Looks pretty slick. You can order the new griddle surface without purchasing the entire grill if it was a must have for you.

Got the 17" table top model for our 1-2 times a year tent camping, work so great bought an outdoor cover for it and leave it on the deck and LOVE IT

Did seasamee crusted tuna on it couple weeks ago

Father's Day I had my weber Genesis nat gas grill going for veggies, the weber kettle charcoal grill for burgers and hasbrowns on the Blackstone griddle. Damn talking about feeling like a WAFFLE HOUSE CHEF LOL. Family LOVED the hasbrowns.

We have grandson this weekend so no church in the am, I will cook our bacon and eggs on it for breakfast and may try some pancakes

Picked mine up on Amazon for 59 as well, figured for camping it is easier than a lot of pots and pans. Works great

Grandson thought it was GREAT that Poppa Tommy cooked his breakfast outside on the deck.

Sucker is great for bacon and eggs

you people are still just cooking breakfast....outside.

and just because you googled it doesnt make it true.

grease traps? Seasoning? Holy shit. How about wipe it down with a cloth....or, since you're outside, hose the bitch off and go inside and eat.

be sure to spray the area for mosquitoes first....

I used mine for the first time yesterday, sauteed some shrimp and fried some trout and flounder filets. I was very impressed.
