    Default Fishfinder/Chartplotter Tuning

I have a Lowrance Lcx-27c on my little skiff, and other than speed and water depth, I have NO idea how to use it. I'm getting geared-up (pun intended) to actually catch fish this year, so gimme some tips on how you dial-in your electronics for the greatest benefit. As usual, thanks in advance for your feedback.

Put it on Auto until you get over structure, then dial it in with what works best for you and the water you’re fishing. The owners manual can only take you so far. And maybe turn off this damn fan so we can all get out.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You might take out a dozen before they drag you from your home and skull fuck you to death. Marsh Chicken 6/21/2013
