Not much of a story, he gobbled a lot and died at 38 steps. It was a beautiful morning to be in the woods.

    Nicely done!
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

No I plan on watching a couple buddy's shoot a few. I just like to get 2 out the way to calm the fever down some, I'll try and hold off until April before shooting another.

Decoys don't make you any less a turkey hunter than using TSS or any assortment of calls etc. They are a tool that is 100% legal to use to accomplish an objective which should ultimately be the same for anyone that calls them self a turkey hunter. Hunt how you choose and to hell with what anyone else thinks.

Well said. I don't know why people care wether someone chooses to hunt with a decoy or not. I will sometimes carry a single hen decoy but that's it.
