    Default New Sled

    Getting there:

She's got plenty of Carolina Flair and with a 10'6" beam should be a dry smooth ride. Hadn't done a thing to it at this point.

Removed the boot stripe and had a polish job done:

Never enough rod holders, I added 3 Mate Series Rod/Cup holders up each gunnel. 7 rod holders on each side and contemplating more. The Mates are good for bottom fishing, first person to slam a sinker in the side gets handed the wax and polish.

There's a few more things to do yet but won't be long before she's ready to move to the lift. Debating biting the bullet and going ahead and putting the Llebroc seats in or waiting until next year, leaning heavily toward it now though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    That's a boat not a sled
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

Put the seats in. You ain't getting no younger. Think about it while you got it out instead of thinking about it every time you hit a big roller at speed.

Sailfish? Hell no, I’d just keep the Pioneer over a Sailfish. It’s a Southport 28TE. It’s right at 31’ from bow to prop.

Yeah, I’m leaning heavy towards it. Be nice to set the autopilot and kick my feet up cruising out and back.

Yeah, the HOA loves it, sends me letters. I write them back thank you notes. Haven’t gotten one since I told them I’d put one or two in the front yard after the next one.

I miss mine being right outside. Any real interest in the pioneer? There are 4 for sale right now, what are the chances? I had to overpay for mine due to them hardly ever popping up used with the right engine!

I like fresh fish and am not afraid of a fillet knife.

Nice boat (if saying that, in any way, helps me procure fish)
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

    Can't hide money. Literally...

Seriously, though, congrats, Mark. Those Southports have beautiful lines. Be sure to send pictures when the decks get bloody.

    Very dry and stable ride.

What motors do you have on it?
