Default Plumber Rec for Gas Tankless Water Heater Install

Any recommendations for a plumber to install a Gas Rinnai Water Heater at my house. Already have the new water heater in hand, just looking for someone to remove the old tank heater and install the new tankless unit. Located in Columbia.

Anybody with plumbing can do it. My advice to you is, find somebody that has been certified by rinnai. It may cost a little extra, but it will be well worth the investment. It could be the difference between your heater lasting 5 years of 25 years. Just saying

The difference between your heater lasting 5 and 25yrs will be totally up to you. Not the installer.

Warranty Coverage is whole notha ball o' wax though. [insert company name here] can get picky if the one who installed the unit is not on their certified installer list.

To the OP, any half way reputable plumber in Columbia will install that heater, and more than likely they will be on Rinnais list. Your problem is going to be the plumber you choose warranting any problems you might have with the heater since you went out and purchased on your own. They make a little money by buying the heater, charging you, and then standing behind any problems you might have. In other words, they are going to install the heater, but if you have issues, you will pay them to come back out for problems within a year. If they had bought the heater, you would be covered for a year.

There's some general maintenance that needs to be done yearly in order to prolong the life of the heater.
