Last summer, we drove all over our little part of India in a Mahindra pick up, and it never skipped a beat.

That thing is bad ass.
I think it would work well to show land in. Hopefully they will cost less than the over-priced Polaris.
Why not just buy a CJ5 or CJ7 instead?
Will it have to use DEF like everything else now?
smaller diesels don't use DEF- they use a hot run to burn off diesel particulates- my 2017 Kubota excavator will go into a 20 minute cleaning cycle- it can be operated during that time with greatly reduced power but the engine is running at max RPMs to burn off the exhaust stuff- Yep I think it's bullshit also but it passes EPA specs.
I think Mahindra has missed the ball with the price- 15k-18k- they would sell like fire at 10k- very similar to the military jeeps we drove before the Humvee and I loved my old Vietnam era jeep.
There's one at Performance Powersports in Seneca. Neat little rig, but I agree with BH, the price point is too high for what it is.
You could pick up a real Jeep or a Samurai and keep some cash in your pocket.
Not street legal so I bet it does not do a hot run.

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.
I'm confused. The article makes it sound like they are not available yet. Foothills motorsports has them for sale already.
This one was sitting out front today...

I mean that would be cool if I lived in f****** Safariland.
For the price point it should have at least been a Crew cab.
Looks like the performance place in Seneca. Dont hold me to it tho.
Less than 10k would be the sweet spot.
A crew cab or truck version for 15k would be nice.
