    .380 and a .38?

    Makes me wanna consider unloading the wife's G42 and at least moving to the 43.

    Those girls seemed to be doing decent considering the situation/stress, but then it just all went to shit.

    Handguns are terrible at stopping a threat quickly unless something hits the CNS, breaks a major supporting bone, or a rapid hemorrhage occurs.

    Live PD did an interview with the mom / daughter duo who made the decision to oppose this... “subject”.... Weapon retention was the obvious issue in this situation.. Mom actually loses possession of the revolver and was struck in the head with it. Daughter while attempting to land another shot is blessed with the stroke of luck of the gun being empty. I applaud each for being brave enough to fight back.. but for the love of god, if you decide to use a weapon, make sure you take all necessary measures to maintain control of said weapon. An obstacle and reactionary gap can be your best friend. As good as this turned out things could have been far worse.. if they had or had not reacted. As always, something to be learned

    Mom shouldn't have approached. Geez that was hard to watch. Shotgun behind the counter woulda ended that on one pull.
