    Default Tax dollars at work...

    COLUMBIA, S.C. —
A South Carolina state representative is proposing legislation that would ban the sale, use and possession of assault weapons, high-capacity magazines and bump stocks.

Democrat Rep. Wendy Brawley, whose Dist. 70 includes Richland and Sumter counties, held a news conference Thursday morning at the Statehouse.

Under the legislation, assault weapons are defined as all semi-automatic rifles with a detachable magazine that can carry 21 or more rounds.

It also includes shotguns with a capacity of more than six rounds and any weapon that can be modified into an assault weapon.

Brawley's bill targets weapons and accessories that have been used in recent mass shootings, including the massacre in Las Vegas that killed 58 and most recently the shooting that left 17 dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida
    R.I.P SFC Spencer Kohlheim.
Suicide is never a good thing but I understand.
Thank you for your service to our nation.
