    Default Need Leaning Post Quickly

I need a new leaning post for a 20' CC that gets used on lakes, rivers, and bays. Looking for basic with minimal footprint to conserve space rear of the helm. Would like either a removable backrest to use rod holders or one with a welded backrest as long as it doesn't expand the overall depth taking up space behind the post (walkthrough traffic behind leaning post). I've seen the ones out of Florida. Any local Carolina builders that offer standard models? Also needs to be pretty quick as I busted the current captains chair mount and need to get it replaced asap. Would love to make the transition to a leaning post happen if I can find the right size and cost to consider for this boat.

I know Palmetto Trooper will be a recommendation. Anyone have his contact info?

PT's your man for a couple of reasons:

    1. He can build it to your EXACT specs.
    2. He has some real talent.
    3. I don't know him, but I do know that he's a good person. See the thread about the beach cart for all the reference you need.

I'm certain somebody can pass along his particulars.

If I was looking to have one built, I wouldn't be looking. Whatever he charged me would be fair.

Shoot me a text or call at 8036038176
I have one I pulled out my Panga that would prob work just fine.
I also have one that fits on the captains chair post that’s already in the boat. Sometimes that is an easier replacement because the seat bases are a pain to get out
