Probably not for what you're looking to do.

Now, if you can run a 1" line from the well head to somewhere closer to your plot, you'll be in business.

Go by your local fire dept and ask if they have any old 1.5"/1.75" fire hose that they will give you. If not, make a trip to Clarendon County and I'll hook you up. It comes in 50' sections so you'll need 10 sections. See, math ain't complicated.

Yeah, run ya 1" or 1¼" 20 foot sticks with the female joint on one end (to save buying couplers), and get ya 25 of 'em, and rent a walk-behind trencher, you can do work. Then you have a lot of options with water run to the site.

Me thinks your fancy formula is all wrong. He might get a trickle, friction loss will kill him. Further more, if not a trickle, I could probably piss a larger flow amount.

Also, the equations look a little more like this:

27,154 gallons = 1”” of rain over an acre. You are going to have one hell of an electric bill.

While I appreciate your position, I'm not going to put a lot of stock in your engineering acumen.

I don't really "know" you, but I have gathered enough to infer that I'm less wrong than you on this subject. The moral of the story is, this is a waste of time without running a full blown water line to his plot. Which, I already stated.

    Also, furthermore is one word.

No I am not an engineer but I spent 30 years in the fire service dealing with friction loss on a daily basis. I do believe I am correct as I am never wrong. Understand I appreciate your position as well but again I think you are wrong.

Also, I will fully agree that running a waterline is the best bet. In that situation you are correct sir.

    I build water heaters.

Nobody wants to heat water that's already hot.

Get a black poly or oval hose and leave it on the ground. No trenching and you won’t torch the well. Your welcome.
