    Default 10/22 ideas?

So I've got a stainless/wood stock 10/22 that's been sitting in the safe for a while and I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I've already got one that's had some work done to it, it's a tack driver. Thinking more along the lines of a beater/truck gun type set up with this one, maybe a holo/red dot sight on it? Give me some cool ideas or I'm gonna sell it so I can start another turkey gun......

I'd try to find a Green Mountain standard profile stainless/fluted 16" barrel and throw a Hogue stock on it and be done. Trigger work you can do yourself. Of course you will need some type of micro red dot.

You need a turkey gun. How much do you want for it?
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

A 10/22 can be fun to build up. New triggers turn a good gun into amazing. The two items above are good choices. The trigger would make it much better.

If you want to make a beater/truck gun out of it the easiest and cheapest method is to first pick up your dirty clothes off the floor and then take that gun and toss it in the truck.

I swear TSS must emit some type of toxin that causes people to overthink things.

But if you're dead set on spending money unnecessarily then give me $200, I'll kick you in the plums and THEN you can put the gun in your truck as is.

Cabela’s used to sell a kit that would turn two 10/22s into a machine gun. I’d buy another an then buy the kit.

Do you make a conscience effort to be an asshole each day or does it just come natural?

If there's any question, this was directed at that dog doc

Some days I'm just in the zone and it flows like a spring mountain thaw.

Other days it can be a real struggle and requires work.

I will admit having good material with which to work helps the creative process.

    So keep posting.

I've got 2, but both are 22lr. Deadly accurate guns. Come up and shoot some squirrels if you wanna run one.

I've got one and it's one of my favorite guns. It sounds like a dry fire when you shoot except for the delayed sound of the bullet hitting. Gemtech Mist-22. (Mist is a terrible name for a gun part.)
