Yea. The worst ball they've played this year has been on the road so that worries me.. They've got a tough one on the road this weekend against Ole Miss. At home on the other hand they have played pretty dang good.. 19-4 I believe with two of those loses coming this past weekend. They lost in 11 on Friday night and lost 1-0 on Sunday to Kentucky who is also not a bad ball club this year.

    USC sweeps LSU.
    Clemson sweeps Wake Forest.
CCU takes 2/3 from Georgia State.
C of C gets swept at Hofstra.

Getting down to crunch time. As of right now I think barring collapses Coastal and Clemson are looking like sure bets to get into a regional. Carolina needs a strong late push and C of C better start playing better as well.

UGA lost 2/3 at ole miss. Their conference record isnt the best but theyve played really good teams, i doubt they host a regional, but do believe they get in. Id like to see them get in a regional with Clemson assuming clemson hosts one.

I watched clemson hit a walk off in the bottom of the ninth last night to beat FSU.

But...kudos to old #11. 39th season. ALL of which had 40+ wins. 50+ wins in 24 of the previous 38. That is quite impressive.

Somebody needs to teach that young kid to hit the ball, put his head down and run the bases, THEN celebrate with his teammates after he gets to home plate. That standing there between home and first and posing is slack and disrespectful. If I had been Monte, I would have run those guys until they threw up after that pathetic show.

Yeah yeah. Move along. I've seen worse in a church league softball game. Let them have fun. Just tell him to be ready next time he steps in the box against FSU.

yeah...but we all know Pbiz is some kinda special.

I agree, though...that kid could've started his trot a bit faster after he tossed the bat 100 feet....

If I had been the pitcher, and I ever got a chance to pitch against that young man again, I would put a fastball right in his ear hole.

    Fuck. That.

Kid just won the game, let him pose. See? This is why people hate fucking baseball and it's its boring ass "unwritten rules". Don't misunderstand, I don't wanna see it every time somebody hits one out, but FFS he just won the game and the series with one swing of the bat. Let him fuckin celebrate

Or he could have got him out last night, when he was already facing him.

Let him celebrate at home plate, after he rounds the bases.
