    The rare phenomenon is usually caused by abundant precipitation, which floods underground sources, and the additional pressure causes the water to erupt to the surface.

    The tree from the video is hollow, and it practically becomes a source, when there are lots of precipitation.

    A local, Emir Hakramaj, said that this has been happening for 20-25 years, maybe longer, reports the Radio Free Europe.

    He said that the tree is over 100 years old, "perhaps even 150".

    Emir said that this tree has no legends besides its phenomenon. They are not prone to thinking over much because this is entirely natural thing.

    No shit, years back we had a couple sweet gums at the edge of my front yard at the lake. The front yard is built up, large cinder block wall, drop down about six feet to the beach. One was a pretty large tree, it needed to come down.. Also, I don't care for sweet gums. I cut the hinge, and noticed water seeping out. When I made the final cut, I did almost an instant glare over the trunk. The water spouted like a dern geyser. About knocked me down, it did knock me back. It was all stained with red clay, not majestic like a volcano though. Not all crazy like the vid, but it did have a hollowed out trunk.

    I saw a tree, Cypress I think, on the edge of the Pearl River in LA that had a knot hole about 10ft above the water's surface that was pumping water out like a water fountain.
    Crops are harvested, animals are killed.

    Hunted the Pearl a few times in Mississippi. Beautiful river.
