    Default 20 gauge opinions

I shot my 20 gauge 870 a good bit last season for most of my wing shooting. I think I'm going too start looking for a semi auto for a dedicated duck and dove gun. What should I be looking at?

    Agreed.

The Beretta A400 is another great 20ga auto.

I'd also look at the Beretta A400
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

I like the looks of the a400. My only hang up is that stupid gunpod 2 thing. Is there a model without it?

    I’ve got 2 Franchi 20s and i love em.

One in camo for ducks, and one in walnut in case Highstrung ever invites me to shoot doves and drink Perrier.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

The A400 20 is the first one I reach for when shooting doves. It's the best shooting shotgun I own. That being said, I'm in the market for a synthetic M2 20 for ducks.

If I buy another it will be a franchi affinity. Guess I should have said "when", that is with the Good LORD willing.

I’ve got a 26” m2 for ducks and a 24” turkey gun. Both were sent off to Rob Roberts and had work done. Without a doubt the best 20ga. autos out there.

I am currently holding a 26” m2 Rob Roberts that if I don’t get paid by the end of the week will be back up for sale on here!

Beretta 391, Benelli m2 (or m1 if you can find one). Also the Benelli Montefeltro is a good shooting gun. My son (10) shoots one and loves it. They are a few hundred bucks less expensive. From personal experience, I have found that the berettas need cleaning more often between hang ups
