    Default Diesel Outboard

Wonder how long it takes them to reach the recreational market?

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Hopefully they don't have anything to do with Ford with what I'm reading on this site.

They already have diesel outboards out in other countries. They aren’t here due to emissions I’m guessing just like all the new 2 stroke outboards.

This is a mechanical apparatus that was designed and built in Britain.

I assure you that you don't want it hanging off the back of your boat. If you do, you don't like being home for supper on Saturday nights.

Oh, I like my gas one. My wife's, I'm still not sold on. Honestly if I had to buy a new truck like today, I don't know what the heck I'd buy. But me riding around in a new truck just wouldn't do anyways, it would be too new to have character.

I kinda wanted that Filson jeep Truck, but it's kinda over the top. I'm not into "flashy" "look at me" things. Also, it's not full sized. If that was my main truck I would feel inferior.

The DoD mandated a one fuel rule after Desert Storm and I remember several companies developing small diesel Outboards, think for RIB. then I heard that Evinrude somehow became the outboard of choice and used a variety of fuels and that is one of the reasons they did not go four stroke. Obviously this 300hp animal is a completely different deal. There has to be some diesel surface drives out there using Kubota etc. MG
