Even though those were happy stories my heart just broke for you. Cherish the memories you have.

Very sorry to hear about your yellow girl’s passing. Lost mine almost 3 years ago. It’s tough seeing them go. Very nice tribute to her.

And some people say “it’s just a dog “. Yea right. Sorry for the loss. The memories will last a lifetime. I have one that’s soon to be 14 and not looking forward to this time but like you have spent a lot of time afield with her and taken lots of pic.

I feel for you as only a lab man can. My girl is 13 and may have made her last retrieve youth weekend. The memories will last forever!

Damn I hope not. Out of the three I still have two are flat out phenomenal Belgians and I'd hate to think I'm done for.

My man. Give him an extra belly rub for me tonight.

Anyone who says that in the next couple days is probably gonna catch hands. I was digging up a couple titles the other day and found some catalogs I saved with her picture in them. It'll be nice to know that I'll still see her every fall when the new ones start coming in.

There are very few things in this life that are as special as a man’s (or boy’s) relationship with his dog. Godspeed.
