I heard from a reliable source that a fella was catching a good many trout up in Ocean Isle on Voodoo Shrimp.

They are some kinda proud of those voodoo shrimp.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Yes, there are. But right now the guys at tackle shops here around Charleston will steer you towards glass minnows because there aren't any shrimp in the creeks.

I've often wondered how a trout knows when shrimp are supposed to be in the creeks and when they're not.

There were piles and piles of glass minnows in the creek late fall. They were stacked up several hundred yards down most banks with shell. Those voodoo shrimp swim better than DOAs and last longer.

Same way I know when sweet corn is in season... I'm eating a lot of it.

I ask a serious philisophical question about fishing and you come back with sweet corn?

Where is Dr. McCoy to help with a properly measured response to this blasphemy?

My first memory of Willk was him in his dad's boat, they were following us back across the sound. The sea was nasty that day my friends.

For me it was like meeting a young Captain Kangaroo only with less grey hair.

I have caught more on the Storm shrimp than any other brand. The pink are my go to bait.
The Mirrolure 17MR is the shit in winter for me also.
The silver with the black back and orange belly, I think its color # is 808

    Z Man Slim Swimz
    Fish them slow.
Never would have tied something so ridiculously small on and my son made me a believer one day on tight lipped cold water fish.
