Default Drop in AR trigger suggestions?

Wanting to upgrade trigger in my PSA AR 15 rifle. Looking at a CMC single stage 3.5 to 4 lbs. Anyone have and/or using one? Appreciate your feedback.

I would take a look at ALG triggers as well. The ACT is a nice trigger and is a fraction of the price of the CMC, it will be around a 5.5 to 6 lb pull.

I have several cmc triggers. None of them are even close to 6 pounds

I’ve got CMCs in a couple of rifles. Good triggers for the price. They have a stronger hammer than a lot of the other drop ins. It was one of the few triggers I used that would reliably light off the Hornady steel match 308 ammo in my Armalite.

I don't have any experience with Hipertouch, but I saw this in my email and figured I would share.

The 24TH, and 24 Eclipse are excellent triggers, and the 24C is pretty good. The earlier triggers were OK, not great.

I have five match triggers on my ARs. One Gieselle and four RRAs. There is an excellent one made in Cincinnati, Ohio but can't remember the name of it. The owner comes to Camp Perry and sells them there.

The ALG is the one you sold me, right? If so, it’s a good one. Been very happy with it.

    Yep that is it.

Griffin I was referring the ACT being a 5.5 to 6 pound pull. I should have worded that sentence a little different.

Is the ACT trigger really that much better than the PSA Enhanced trigger?

One of my ARs has a BTE match trigger and it's pretty damn slick. ALG is always a good choice also.

    This one? https://algdefense.com/alg-combat-trigger-act.html

Only $69, compared to $200 plus for some of the other well know brands.

AR trigger are 100% something where you get what you pay for

I've found this to be truth. I have Geissele SSA and SSA-E's either in or going into most of my AR's. The only exceptions at this point are a hunting gun (looking at a Timney 3 lb drop in) and a possible Mk 12 build (Geissele Hi Speed National Match - which I already have on hand).

I have some of the Bravo Company triggers, which aren't bad, that I came by as part of their lower parts kit. I will likely use them in secondary builds.
