Default Tire weight and power loss?

Anybody know if I'm going to lose a lot of power by going from a 285/75r16 Bfg AT to a Nitto Trail Grappler in the same size? My all terrains weigh about 58 pounds a piece and the Nitto's are 70 pounds. The Nittos are a little bit bigger as well but I'm wondering if that extra 48 pounds will put to much strain on my drive train, especially while towing. I'm probably over thinking this but my truck is a 97 z71 with 317k miles and 3.42 gears.

You are, indeed, over thinking this.

Going to Lowes tomorrow. Will I loose power if I place (3) 80lb bags of sakrete in the bed of my truck, or do I need to move them into the cab? Asking for a Friend

3 bags of sakrete ? May need to call DOT and see if the road will handle the weight.

Settle the hell down. We are talking 48 pounds. See if they will sell you a half bag.

Just keep your tailgate dropped to reduce the drag and you MIGHT be okay.

You might want to reconsider so you can get that UCLA look, rear bumper 6" off the pavement. Dump the air out of the rear shocks and cruise on, be careful in Aynor they be looking.

Saw one the other day that I swear every time that kid hit a bump his trailer hitch hit the ground. $200 B&W doubling as a sparkler. Had to be seeing more sky than road.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
