I hung something yesterday I couldn’t move. Thought it was the bottom until I realized I was still straight down on it and 100 yds off the structure. I’d feel a little movement but no run, no kick, just dead weight. Probably a big ass nurse shark but I normally winch them to the top. Gave it slack, felt it move then gone.

Probably a southern stingray or nurse. I've seen them (stingray) down there the size of the bed of a pickup truck.
