I'm not reading that entire article (mostly because I don't want to), but being an asshole and being a conservative are not mutually exclusive.

Ergo, these folks MAY be getting picked on for being assholes rather than for being conservatives.

However, I would never work for Google anyhow. That state is a cesspool filled with whining mother fuckers nearly throughout. I'm just flat out not willing to put up with it.

Finally, wouldn't one expect to be blacklisted at a workplace such as Google should one identify as conservative?

Freedom of speech ends when they disagree with the speech. Anything they chose no to agree with goes straight to “racist” or “sexist”. Those titles are thrown around very loosely these days, so much they almost lose their power. I remember when words mattered. MG
