We grew up on Pompano Dr, later had a condo at the place on the beach across from Gulf Stream.

Any of you remember Garrett Winesette. That was Bubby Vereens daddy and law that wrote the infamous Wildflower that was distributed around the inlet area. RIP Wildflower man.

After closing down a few of the local watering holes around the Inlet. Myself, and a couple of Capt. Alex Sings daughters and the infamous Lil' Deb Strickland of natural Murrells Inlet pedigree went to the south end of GC around 4am. We wuz dipping skinny when the sun came up and drinkin' profusely. Capt. Hoss rounded the corner and pronounced to the charter that what they were seeing was some of the Local Natives that had forgotten to go to bed.

Capt. Hoss, bless his soul, saved the wife and I a couple of time's cause he had radar and would tell us what to do. He taught me a lot about a lot of things along with a bunch of others.
